昨天朋友Jill到竹科的聯電面試 找我下班之後一起吃飯
因此我便在金山街隨意找了這間新開的店 和Jill&她的BF京魁來這邊用餐
廚師Kevin Calvin是新加坡人 曾旅居了南非 歐洲 美國等地 也是位有趣的人
餐飲的經驗超過24年 如今則跑來了台灣
這間店比較大的特色 就在於店內提供了聖沛黎洛(S.PELLEGRINO)的水
這是一種來自阿爾卑斯山的天然氣泡礦泉水 在一些義式餐館可見
通常百貨公司一杯就可以賣到100元 而廚師親自跑去和台灣經銷商談
所以在店內以低價提供了S.PELLEGRINO 一瓶1000c.c的水 是100元
但是有簽約 就是店內不能提供其他的水
所以這點 如果沒有跟客人事先說明 很容易就造成了不滿與誤會
(台灣很少有簡餐店或西餐廳 桌上沒有放杯水讓客人取用的)
會選擇這樣健康的水 Kevin Calvin也說 他開店前跑遍了金山街這一帶的許多餐館
並且拿他們的水回來檢測 發現都是不太理想的 所以才有這樣的念頭與舉動
而至於食物本身 是在開放式廚房烹飪給客人看
在廚師堅持不用任何調理包或過多的調味料之下
我點的是洋蔥培根義大利麵套餐($220)
吃起來就有點感覺味道比較不太適合台灣人的口味
但是朋友單點的海鮮墨魚麵($250) 據她們兩位吃起來的評價 就蠻不錯的了
不過雖然我的餐點較不太合口味 但是從三盤義大利麵幾乎沒有過多的湯汁觀之
可以看得出來 廚師的火侯掌握是蠻不錯的 收汁收得頗為乾淨
整體來說 這間店在金山街這一帶 只能算是間店面不大頗不明顯的小餐廳而已
但是廚師本身在餐飲上 有著豐富的經驗跟自己的一套
因此雖然在口味上 現在可能還沒法抓準台灣人的喜好
但還不至於讓人只去一次就不會想再去 因為我相信廚師 就會相信這間店…

I know Amici in Italian means \\\'Friends\\\".
But I do love and craze about a 5 singers band called \\\" Amici\\\".
Their album \\\" Forever\\\" is my favorite.

This is calvin from Amici, nice to hear from you although I have no ideal have we met in my
restuarant but sincerely hope that I have the opportunity that able to meet you some day.
As for your question why I name the restuarant Amici cos' I have no friends here in Taiwan except my
my bussiness partner & I love to cook and eat, so, I operated a Italian restuarant( I am a certified
Italian chef) to get to know more friends around me and at the same time the home
cooking of Italian cusine. Although, I have set-up and operated total of 47 Italian restuarants in
Singapore, India, Malaysia and China for the past 10 years but I wholly owned
Amici Italian Cafe-TaiwanAnyway, Miss Tracy, may Amici Italian have the opportunity to meet you some day.
